FHCSC Mission Statement
Created approximately 1986, we are one of the first chapters established under the oversight of FHANA (Friesian Horse Association of North America). We adhere strictly to the Bylaws and Regulatons of the FPS (Friesch Paarden Stamboek), the parent organization of FHANA, and of FHANA itself. Our goal is to:
- Promote the Friesian Horse in North America.
- Educate the public as to the beauty, uses, and significance of our breed.
- Preserve the qualities of the Friesian Horse in accordance to the standards of the FPS, the original Dutch registry responsible for the preservation and advancement of the Friesian Breed of today.
- Enjoy our Friesians in the company of other Friesian owners and lovers from both near and far.
Whether or not you own a Friesian, we invite you to join us and experience for yourself the Magic of these wonderful horses.

The 25th Anniversary Convention Celebration of FHANA.
An Event Celebrating Twenty-Five Years of Stewardship of the Noble KFPS Friesian Horse in North America. The Friesian Horse Association of North America (FHANA) invites all Friesian enthusiasts to its 25th Anniversary Celebration and Convention. The Convention, twenty-five years in the making, will be held in Reno, Nevada from October 8th thru the 11th, 2009.

On Thursday our mare Wybrich started to show signs that in the next 12 to 24 hours she was going to have her foal. Erin had plenty of coffee to stay on foal watch, I on the other hand, crashed at 8:30pm. I was up running calls the night before at work. The foal didn't come throughout the night and at 5:30am when I got up the foal was still not here yet. At 7:30am Erin came and told me that Wybrich's water had broken and at 0747 the little filly was fully born. Enjoy the photos, our new filly. Go here for more...
